Grade 2 Teacher
I was born and raised in the Blenheim, Ontario area and attended the Chatham Christian education school system, graduating from Grade 12 in 1980. I continued my Christian education at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for 4 years, acquiring a BEd degree with a focus in primary language arts. My first teaching position was at Orangeville Christian school where I taught in the primary division. After 5 years I joined the staff at John Knox Christian School in Brampton where to this day, the primary division is still my field.
What I treasure most about teaching is developing a relationship with my students and watching them grow and develop their talents in service to others and to God.
John Knox Christian School is a school where teachers and parents alike work together to help and guide the children become the individuals God intends them to be. I believe the strength of our school is that foundational commitment.
