For 60 years, John Knox has been walking alongside parents in Brampton and Mississauga to provide children with quality academics in a Christian learning environment. Curriculum
Our programs are designed to create authentic and rigorous learning experiences for all students. Our curriculum is based on the Ministry of Education’s expectations and is supplemented by a variety of curriculum resources including that of the Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools (OACS), and Christian Schools International (CSI).
Admissions
John Knox welcomes all Christian families seeking a strong, faith-based education in a caring environment to apply for our program. Our admission process includes academic assessment or a class visit (kindergarten) to ensure that we understand and are prepared to meet the unique needs of each student.
Events
As with any great crop, as students grow they begin to produce fruit. At John Knox, these gifts are celebrated frequently through musical performances, science fairs, athletic competitions and more. They are also shared with the community through times of service and outreach.
Rooted and Growing
John Knox was started because committed parents understood the importance of providing a Christian learning environment for their children; we believe the core beliefs expressed and taught at school should work in harmony with those taught at home and church, as our young students grow and develop their walk with Jesus.
