Hobbies/Interests/Family life (Tell us as much as you can)
My Faith has been foundational for my life. At the age of 15, I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart and my life has never been the same. I am and have always been an active member in my church community, from being a part of the worship team, leading the dance and children’s ministry, to connecting with youth and young adults.
I am married and have 2 sons. Both our children attend John Knox. As a family, we love movies, eating out, having dance parties, vacations, singing together, and serving at our church. I love cooking, watching movies, and eating various cultural foods.
What do you love about JKCS?
From the moment I stepped into John Knox, I knew that it was a special place. Right away there was a sense of community and family that is very rare to find. I love that the school believes in building a firm foundation not only academically, but also spiritually. This approach to learning is very close to my heart. As a Christian, I believe that education goes beyond academics, as it can have an impact on the social, emotional, and spiritual growth of a child as well. John Knox looks at all of those components and takes the whole child into consideration. With the knowledge of who they are in Christ as a foundation, the students are able to lead all aspects of their lives with a Godly compass. These are great skills not just for their education, but for life.
Working with a team of people that uplift and edify each other daily, has been an answer to my prayers. I thank God for the wonderful staff and community that surround JKCS. We are truly blessed.
